Sustainability for a greener future

SATEKLES BIZNESA CENTRS has set a new benchmark for sustainability in the Baltics, completing the BREEAM certification process with the highest rating ever achieved in the region. Building A, whose main tenant is SEB banka, has received an OUTSTANDING score of 89.9% – the highest rating ever awarded to a new development in the Baltics.

This result also represents the highest rating in Latvia for multifunctional and office buildings, confirming the project’s ability to meet the most demanding sustainability standards while integrating advanced and innovative solutions. Building A has been certified not only at the “Shell & Core” scope but also at the more demanding “Fully Fitted” scope, which is practiced more rarely in the market demonstrating building’s excellence already with full tenant fitout.

The remaining buildings within the complex have also achieved very high results – Building B has received an OUTSTANDING rating of 89.7% (the third highest rating in the Baltics), while Building C – a newly built historic 19^th century wooden building, retaining its historical architectural character  – has achieved an EXCELLENT rating of 76.5%.

As a result, the more than 4 year long BREEAM certification process for the SATEKLES BIZNESA CENTRS complex has been successfully completed.

SATEKLES BIZNESA CENTRS  Building A is also the first office building in Latvia to achieve an OUTSTANDING rating (89.9%) at the design stage under the BREEAM “International New Construction 2016” scheme.

The highest BREEAM rating in the Baltics confirms the complex’s exceptional quality, efficient resource management and compliance with internationally recognised sustainability standards, while significantly strengthening its competitiveness and positioning it among the most sustainable office developments in the region.
